In 2013 Eden East and Recovery of Hope received a $3,000 grant for a joint project that involved the presentation of a course in Steinbach entitled “Making Sense of Aggression”. The course was based on Dr. Gordon Neufeld’s attachment-based developmental paradigm.
“The essence of the Making Sense of Aggression course puts parents and caregivers in touch with the attributes within a child that bring about maturity and responsibility. When parents understand how to draw these qualities out of children in the context of a safe and well-attached relationship, children will be more likely to grow generous hearts, having a desire to make a difference and help others.”
